Fill in the Blank Responses

Other programming options (besides cable, tivo, etc)
internet on the TV, for watching youtube large
VCR (sometimes you need an extra tuner)
Terrestrial digital :-)

Other TV improvements (besides HD, surround sound, etc)
blackout shades and a big couch
Eyes, spectacles and a clear view from the telly to the sofa
rabbit ears
I don't know how big my tv is.

My life is like ____ because ____
A prime-time cartoon because it's like a sitcom, but occasionally completely surreal
A reality show because it's full of stupid people
Something else, and why: An arty farty badly dubbed black and white french serial.
Something else, and why: nasa tv, because usually it's relatively calm but sometimes something neat happens
A long-running sitcom because I have ridiculously witty and creative friends.
Something else, and why: Flying Circus sketch because every time something goes right, something else goes horribly wrong
A reality show because truth is stranger, and more interesting, than fiction. D4 says: you're not reading the right fiction
Something else, and why: boring answer, but I don't think my life is particularly like tv at all
A reality show because it's often very absurd
Something else, and why: a weird late night show with a small following that's hard to explain to people who don't watch it.
A long-running sitcom because I tend to view most of my life -- especially the mishaps -- through a filter of funny
Something else, and why: No idea

The question about whether I watch TV programming was hard to answer, because a couple of items were true. I only watch DVDs (including DVDs of old TV shows, though) on my television. I watch some TV programming (Daily Show/Colbert, primarily), but only on my laptop. I Am Difficult.
